The ScareFest 2013 weekend will be here before you know it, and we are sure you have lots of questions. We are going to try to put you at ease by anticipating what you might like to know before heading out for Lexington to go to ScareFest.
Q. What time does the Ticket Box Office open each day?
A. Friday: 11am-9pm
Saturday: 9am-8pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm
Q. What time does the ScareFest open each day?
A. Sept. 13: 5pm-10pm (4pm for Platinum/Golden Ticket Holders)
Sept. 29: 11am-9pm (10am for Platinum/Golden Ticket Holders)
Sept. 30: 11am-4pm (10am for Platinum/Golden Ticket Holders)
Q. Are the stars’ autographs free?
A. Unfortunately, no. The main reason the celebrities are doing the convention (instead of actual film work, or time off to spend with their families) is because of the financial return these shows deliver. Some celebrities attending may sign for free, but nothing is guaranteed.
Q. How much are autographs?
A. We have no way of knowing what autograph pricing will be. The price is set by the individual talent. Generally, pricing is set at $15-35. I would plan on most costing $25.00.
Q. Will there be a line break rule?
A. Yes, the Platinum ticket holders will be able to come to the head of the long lines. While standing in the Platinum line beside the star’s line, they will alternate one by one with the regular star’s line; so not to congest the line. This way both lines will move quickly. Only the top headliners will be included in the line break.
Q. I have a machete, chainsaw, or other item I would like to get signed. Can I?
A. Yes, but you have to keep the items in a box, sheath, or container until it is signed; and then you must take it to your vehicle. Usually the Lexington Center does not allow this, but they have made an exception for this event.
Q. Are there ATM machines?
A. Yes, there is an ATM machine in the Lexington Center and at several locations close by.
Q. If I lose my keys, or I need to find something; what do I do?
A. We have a ticket office near the entrance; and all staff have been directed that if they are given, or if they find a lost item, to take it to the ticket office. We are not responsible for anything lost or stolen at the convention, but if you do lose something; ask about it at the ticket office.
Q. Will you have any bands or concerts?
A. Yes. We will be offering Backstage Passes. These bands are wow, bold and funky; and are going to rock your brains with their favorite tracks, while entertaining ScareFest fans for FREE. All you need is your ScareFest Saturday wristband to be a part of the insane sounds and energy being deployed by each band.
Q. When, where and what time is the Costume Ball, how much does it cost, and where do we get the tickets?
A. The Costume Ball is on Saturday, September 14, at 10:00 pm. Location to be announced. You must be 21 years or older to attend. This event is FREE to ScareFest Fans.
Q. When, where, and what time is the VIP party, what is the cost, and where do we go to get the tickets?
A. Only Golden and Platinum ticket holders, and stars can go to the VIP party. The VIP Party is Friday, September 13, at 10:00 pm, at The HighTop Bar. You must be 21 years or older to attend. As you enter the bar, you will need to show your wrist band to get in. There will be a cash bar with drink specials.
Q. When and what time do Wicked World and ScareGrounds open, and what is the cost?
A. The Wicked World and ScareGrounds open for ScareFest fans on Saturday, September 14, at 7:30 pm until midnight, and the cost is $15.00. They will have a booth at ScareFest, and will sell tickets in advance. You must have an advanced ticket to enter Wicked World. Golden and Platinum ticket holders are Free.

Q. When and what time does the ScreamPark open, and how much is the cost? Where do we buy our tickets?
A. The SCREAMPARK opens Friday, September 13; and Saturday, September 14, at 7:00pm until 1:00 am. You can pick up your tickets at the SCREAMPARK booth at ScareFest. The ticket cost is $18.00 General Admission with $2.00 off for ScareFest Fans = $16.00
$30.00 for VIP Admission with 1/2 off for Platinum Ticket Holders only = $15.00
Q. Where is the SCREAMPARK located?

Q. What Midnight movies are playing at the Kentucky Theater on Friday and Saturday night?
A. Both the movies being shown and their times are TBA.
Q. Where is the Kentucky Theater located and how far is it from the ScareFest Event?
A. It is located on 214 East Main St. and is one mile from the Lexington Center.
Q. What do the midnight movies at the Kentucky Theater costs?
A. $7.00 for all ScareFest fans
Q. Will there be a ghost hunt at the Kentucky Theater this year?
A. We will be hosting a ghost hunt at the Kentucky Theater after the movies on Friday and Saturday night. You must attend either the Friday night or Saturday night movie in order to qualify for the ghost hunt. After the movie there will be a lottery to see who gets to go on the ghost hunts, and the cost is FREE. You will need to sign a "Hold Harmless" form before going on the ghost hunt.
