American Horror Story: Freak Show

naomi-grossman-panel Naomi Grossman is best known for her portrayal of “Pepper” in American Horror Story.  She has written, produced, and starred in her second hit solo show, Carnival Knowledge: Love, Lust, and other Human Oddities; which enjoyed a twice-extended, sold-out run and rave reviews (“Recommended” by LA Weekly). Its predecessor, Girl in Argentine Landscape, earned her an LA Weekly Theater Award nomination for best solo performance. Naomi also toured with “Girl…”. Naomi has starred in numerous self-penned/produced comedic shorts, as well as recently appeared in her first feature film, Table for Three.

It is with the deepest of regret that we at ScareFest must share with our fans the news that Ben Woolf, from American Horror Story: Freak Show, has died in an L.A. hospital from injuries suffered last week when he was hit by a passing car. A. Michael Baldwin is an American actor, producer, and screenwriter. He began acting in his teens, and was also a member of the Teenage Drama Workshop at California State University. He is best known for his role as “Mike” in the Phantasm films. Baldwin practices Eastern Mysticism, and in the 1980s temporarily left acting to explore his spirituality. Some of his latest accomplishments are writing, producing, and appearing in Vice Girls. Michael has also taught acting classes and workshops in Los Angeles.




Bill Thornbury’s breakthrough came in 1978, at the age of 26, with the role of “Jody Pearson” in Phantasm. He, along with A. Michael Baldwin, Reggie Bannister and Angus Scrimm, are the key center of what fans call “The Phantasm Phamily”. Due to his skills as a musician, guitar player, and singer, he was given the chance to perform on-screen a theme composed by himself: the country ballad “Sittin’ Here at Midnight”. The scene where he plays the song with Reggie Bannister became one of the most unforgettable moments of the saga.




Reggie Bannister is an actor/producer (Phantasm I-IV, Phantasm V: Ravager, Bloody Bloody Bible Camp) who is best known for his role as “Reggie”, the intrepid ice cream vendor-turned hero,  in the Phantasm franchise. He is referred to as “The Hardest Working Man in Horror”.  His career spans over 40 years in television, film and entertainment. His most recent projects have been Steven King’s “One For the Road” (from the Night Shift Anthology), “Primitive”, “Abolition”, “The Ghastly Love of Johnny X”, “Bloody Bloody Bible Camp”, “Walking Distance”, “Small Town Saturday Night” and “Satan Hates You” (2009).imdb



Gigi “Fast Elk” Bannister is a special effects artist, actor and producer (Phantasm IV, Phantasm V: Ravager, Bloody Bloody Bible Camp). She has been in the film industry for over 35 years. Gigi started her entertainment career as an in-house model in the ’70s. Her diverse background also includes: actress, makeup artist, agent, manager, writer and director. World renowned for her special effects and production work, Gigi became comfortable on both sides of the camera. She has appeared in over a dozen films and television shows.
